How long have you lived in Guelph/Eramosa? I have lived in Rockwood since 1993 (29 years)

Do you reside in the ward you are running in? I live in Ward 8 Wellington County

Why are you running in this election? The work isn’t done yet, I still have boundless energy, and I have more to offer.

What qualifies you to represent your ward? I have years of practical business experience, and have served 21 years on a combination of Guelph-Eramosa Council and Wellington County Council

Why should people vote for you? Stable, proven leadership. I care deeply about the past, present, and future of this place

What do you see as the main issues facing residents of the ward? Long and short term asset management. Ratio of residential vs. commercial/industrial assessment needs addressing. Planning to address housing shortage.

What do you see as the main issues facing residents of Guelph/Eramosa on a broader scale? Remembering out Rural Roots. Expansion of SWIFT rural broadband, responsible budgeting, more daycare, More seniors programming. Continued cooperation between all levels of government.

What is the most important thing you want to see changed in Guelph/Eramosa?

What services need to be improved in Guelph/Eramosa? More daycare, more seniors programming

Is Guelph/Eramosa growing too fast, just the right amount, or not fast enough? Residential has spiked, but is now levelling off (Rockwood is nearly built out).  clean industrial and commercial need to catch up.

What can be done at the local level about the rising cost of housing? Responsible, planning. Look at what other countries are doing to combat this issue.

Do speed limits need to be reviewed in Rockwood and the township? There is an excellent mathematical system which produces unbiased views of what speed limits should be. All roads are considered.

How do we make Guelph/Eramosa an even better place to live? Create opportunities for the whole person. Live, work and play.
