After a busy summer of tourists, downtown roads in Elora are open again to vehicles on the weekend. The Elora BIA wants to expand the weekend street closures to next summer and beyond.

ELORA – A weeklong celebration of Elora’s restaurants is back.

The third edition of Eloralicious kicks off Friday, March 24, with 13 participating restaurants, the most of any Eloralicious so far said Elora BIA chair and owner of The Evelyn Maclean Hann.

Through this event, participating restaurants have a set menu with a standard price of $25 for lunch and $50 for dinner per person.

This year’s tagline is ‘celebrating Elora’s dynamic culinary scene’ which Hann said is fitting based on what they’re looking to accomplish.

“The idea is just to get people out into the restaurants and enjoying all the great food that we have to offer in this little village,” Hann said.

“I think it’s important to engage with the local clientele to let them know that they don’t need to venture out of the village to get a great meal.”

The event runs from March 24 until April 2.
