Fast puzzlers wanted! Puzzle competition coming to Fergus

FERGUS – Competitors at an upcoming race won’t be on foot but going piece by piece as teams race to complete a puzzle the fastest. 

Brighten Up Toys & Games is holding its first puzzle competition on Oct. 22 at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex starting at 1 p.m.. 

Teams can choose from four categories to compete in:

  • Ravensburger 1,000 piece puzzle, up to four team members
  • Ravensburger standard 500 piece puzzle, two team members
  • Cobble Hill 1000 piece puzzle, up to four team members
  • Cobble Hill Family Pieces puzzles, one adult and up to two children

Puzzles used will remain a secret.

The winning team from the 1,000 and 500 piece categories will receive a voucher for one free 1,000 piece puzzle for each team member and runner ups will get vouchers for a free 500 piece puzzle. 

Top three teams in the family challenge will receive a voucher for one free Cobble Hill Family Pieces. 

Brighten Up Toys’ web page noted there will be bonus prizes for best dressed, team spirit and puzzle cheer.
