ELORA – Elora’s Western Ontario Super Hockey League (WOSHL) team are on a hot streak after two wins over the weekend.
The Rocks remain without a loss so far this season, winning their first six games in a row.
At home on Friday, Elora beat Wellington County neighbours the Erin Blitz 4-1. Elora scored two goals in the first and second period, securing the win over the struggling Blitz who are without a win in their inaugural season.
The Rocks weren’t done there as the team hit the road to Platsville to face off against the Lakers on Sunday.
This match-up featured a high scoring first period for both teams with three goals a piece going back-and-forth.
However, Elora was able to get another goal in the second and third period to secure another win 5-3.
Elora and Erin are both on the road next weekend.
The Rocks are up against Tillsonburg on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. while the Blitz face Delhi at 8 p.m.
