Albert James Duffield (aka Duff),
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his beautiful home on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the age of 65.
Beloved husband of Susan Duffield for over 37 years. Loving father of Brandy (Adam) of Elmira, Cody (Morgan) of Elora, Bob (Rachel) of Temiscaming & Dan (Julie) of Guelph. Proud grandfather of Sage, Aksel, Ryder, Leah & Ben.
Lovingly remembered by his siblings, sister Dorothy (Ted), brother Art (Angie), brother John (Judy) & predeceased brother Joe (Rita) and parents Emma & Lorne.
Albert (aka Duff) was an amazing husband and an even more devoted father and grandfather. Always the life of the party and in the centre of the action with the most contagious laugh around. He loved being out on the water doing what he did best, wakeboarding. If you couldn't find him, you could always find him in his workshop (or up a tree).
Visitations will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:00pm & 7:00 - 9:00pm at Giddy's Funeral Home, Fergus followed by a funeral service on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 11am.
We respectfully ask for no children at the funeral service and to truly make this a celebration to remember, we ask that the attire be bright and cheerful (no black clothing) (straw hats ENCOURAGED).
The formal funeral service will be followed by a celebration of life at the Duffield Residence at 211 Barker St, Fergus. All are welcome!
