March 19th, 1930 - January 4th, 2022

Jeanette passed the morning of January 4, 2022, surrounded by loving family in her home at the age of 91, into the loving arms of her precious Lord Jesus, of whom she expressed a joyful anticipation to see face to face.

She was born near Hillsburgh Ontario, March 19, 1930, to the late Morgan and Elsie Graham, eighth of nine siblings who lived and loved each other deeply through life. She is predeceased by Eleanor (Will) McLean, Jack (Marion) Graham, Howard Graham, Isabel (Clarence) Beatty, Ruth (Arnold)Oliver, Lois (Art) Kennedy, Don Graham, and Ann Graham. She is survived by her one remaining and loving brother, Ken Graham (Hilda Grant) and sisters in law Donna Graham and Marion Graham.

Jeanette was the devoted wife of the late Roy Taylor. Married 1955, they farmed together for 45 years on the 11th line of East Garafraxa and raised five daughters, ‘The Taylor Girls’ of whom they were very proud. Jeanette was a faithful member of Grand Valley Church of Christ, the Women’s Institute and was often found loving and serving others. She enjoyed children and drove a school bus for 10 years that she called the JOY Bus … teaching the children that joy comes when we live from a place of Jesus, Others then Yourself.

In 2000 Roy and Jeanette moved to Fergus Ontario where Jeanette enjoyed being part of the Seniors Center and the Grand River Community Church in Elora. In 2018 Jeanette moved to live with her oldest daughter in Ancaster for the last 3 ½ years of her life, living the blessing of being part of a four generational family household.

Jinny’s family and friends have enjoyed her as an adventurous, witty, fun loving, horseback riding, yodelling and cowboy song-singing, joke telling, crokinole playing, generous, lover of nature, who worked hard and welcomed each day with a happy heart, seeking to be up on time to enjoy the beauty of each early morning sunrise.

She will be deeply missed by her loving children Faye (Wendell) Leytham, Barbara (deceased 2015) (Brent) Mason, Lorraine (Mac) Parker, Joan (Keith) Gerber, and Tracy (Michael) Lalonde.
She has imparted a godly heritage to her 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, her last wish for them being to ‘Keep their eyes on Jesus’. She also has modelled a life of faith to many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A small family funeral is being held on January 8th at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home.
Donations in her honor will be given to the Bible League of Canada. www.grahamgiddyfh.com
