It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Chris Walser who was taken far too young.
He was a loving husband to Laurie for 31 years and adored father to Blake and best pal to Boomer. Son of Stan and Doreen Walser and son-in-law of Don and Shirley Baker.
He will be sadly missed by his sister Rosemary and her husband Doug. Beloved brother-in-law to Phil, Mike, Tracey, Brian and Andrea. Loving uncle to Jaci, Cori, Melissa, Emma and Jordan. Beloved cousin and loyal friend to many.
Chris enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved fishing, hunting and the great outdoors. His passion was model trains and old movies. He always enjoyed good food at the various restaurants near and far that he thoroughly researched to find the perfect meal.
Chris will always be remembered as an avid hockey fan. The Chicago Blackhawks will miss his cheers.
Family and friends may visit at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. Parish prayers will be held at 6:30 PM at the Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Immaculate Church, 267 Geddes Street, Elora. Interment to follow at St. Mary-St. Joseph Cemetery, Elora.
