Approximately $22K in items stolen from business in Clinton

CENTRAL HURON – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is actively investigating a break, enter and theft that took place late last week in Clinton.

On Sept. 10, 2021 Huron OPP members received a report of an overnight break, enter and theft at a business located on Albert Street in Clinton. Investigators learned those responsible forced entry into the business through the front door. Once inside the business the thieves stole numerous items including several wedding dresses, pairs of shoes, assorted costume jewellery, a laptop, a debit machine and a cash box containing a small amount of cash.

The value of the stolen items is estimated at $22,000.
