A resident of Arthur is facing charges following an assault in Wellington North.
Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police, under the direction of the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), has charged one person following an assault at an apartment complex on Edward Street in Arthur on Jan. 15, 2023.
The victim sustained life-altering injuries after an altercation with another resident from a neighbouring apartment.
A 37-year-oldman from Arthur has been charged with aggravated assault, contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused was remanded in custody.
