A 46-year-old woman is facing charges after Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to an assault at a residence on Edinburgh Avenue in Fergus.
On Aug. 17, 2022 at approximately 9 p.m., officers received a report that a known person had assaulted a resident and fled prior to police arrival.
As a result of the investigation, a suspect from Fergus was charged with assault contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of justice - Guelph on May 30.
