Conn man, 24, faces string of charges in break-in near Arthur

Theft of a motor vehicle, trespassing at night among other charges after building entered on 18th Line

Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a break and enter on Sunday at a property on 18th Line in the Township of Mapleton near Arthur.

It was reported that a building at that location had been entered through the night, the OPP said in a news release.

As a result of an investigation, a 24-year-old from Conn has been charged with several criminal code offences and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice in Guelph on June 16.

Charges include:

  • Break, Enter, a Dwelling House with Intent to Commit Indictable Offence
  • Theft over $5,000 of a Motor Vehicle
  • Trespassing at Night
  • Theft Under $5,000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Mischief over $5,000
