On June 6, 2023 at approximately 8:30 a.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a commercial motor vehicle on Wellington Road 7 that had left the roadway. The driver was located and was uninjured. Investigation determined that the vehicle had been stolen earlier in the day.
As a result of the investigation, Dustin Geisel, 27 years old of Hanover has been charged with theft of motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime, careless driving, cannabis readily available, and drive motor vehicle - no license. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on Aug. 1, 2023.
