Fourth fire under investigation in Mount Forest

MOUNT FOREST - Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have added a third fire to the count of suspicious fires that occurred in Mount Forest on June 4. Between 3 and 4 a.m., a yard waste bag was discovered on fire at a residence on Colcleugh Avenue, Mount Forest. The fire was extinguished by the homeowner without incident.

At approximately 3 a.m. on June 4, a structure fire at a business on Sligo Road West and a shed/vehicle fire on Cork Street was discovered in Mount Forest.

Investigators continue to solicit the public for information related to these fires. Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have surveillance or dashcam footage that may help identify their sources.
