Minto resident facing impaired, trafficking charges after disturbance

Police were called on Tuesday evening to a disturbance in Erin in which a vehicle reportedly damaged property at the residence

On April 18, 2023, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an intimate partner disturbance at an Erin address. It was reported that a vehicle had damaged property at the residence.

As a result of the investigation, a 69-year-old resident of Minto, has been charged with:

  • operation while impaired
  • operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 Plus)
  • mischief - over $5,000 - spousal.

…contrary to the Criminal Code.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, at a later date.
