An individual from Brockport, New York, is facing multiple Criminal Code charges after the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to several reports of harassment in the town of Mount Forest.
On Aug. 6, 2022, the OPP were contacted by three separate individuals who advised that a person driving a red sedan had been following them. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and the individual involved. As a result of the investigation, 52, of Brockport, New York, has been charged with the following:
- CC 264(2)(a) criminal harassment (three counts)
- CC264.1(1)(a) uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm
- CC 320.17 Flight from Peace Officer
- CC 320.13(1) dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
The accused was remanded into custody.
