Over $20K in damage done to Palmerston business during break-in

On June 4, 2021, at approximately 8:10 a.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of mischief that occurred at a business located on King Street in Palmerston. 

Investigation revealed that sometime between May 28, 2021 and June 3, 2021, unknown suspects entered the property and smashed the windows and windshields out of approximately 20 vehicles. Fire extinguishers were used to cause the damage to the vehicles, which were all un-plated and either for scrap, antique, or for sale. Fireworks were also set off in the area during that period of time.

The total value of damage is in excess of $20,000.
