Palmerston resident faces additional historical sexual assault charges

TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH – In November of 2020, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) uniform and Crime Unit members commenced an investigation into a report of a series of historical sexual assaults and other sex-related offences which occurred in multiple jurisdictions between 2003 and 2020.

The Wellington County OPP has further charged Michael Bradley Hurst, 43-years-old of Palmerston with 10 counts of Sexual Assault contrary to the Criminal Code.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Guelph at a later date.  

Investigators believe that there may be additional victims and any person with information regarding this ongoing investigation is asked to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
