Traffic stop leads to impaired charge in Erin

The 39-year-old Guelph resident was also charged with failing to comply with a probation order

TOWN OF ERIN – On May 22, 2021, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a member of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a passenger vehicle for a traffic offence on Trafalgar Road north of Wellington Road 124 in Erin.

As a result, Taylor Patrick Milne, 39-years-old of Guelph has been charged with:

  • Operation while impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 and;
  • Fail to comply with probation order.   

A 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on June 11, 2021.
