Notice of Public Meeting Pre Consultation


Town of Innisfil

 A change is proposed on these lands.

The Town has initiated an application for Official Plan Amendment (D09-2024-002), respecting revised pre-consultation policies
applicable to any development or re-development of land within the boundaries of the Town of Innisfil.

A copy of the proposed official plan amendment information and material will be available to the public for inspection on or after Thursday, April 25, 2024 along with more information about this matter.

A Public Meeting has been scheduled.

Visit getinvolvedinnisfil.ca/planning for information on participating in the Public Meeting. Please note the Public Meeting will be held in
person in Council Chambers at Town Hall (2101 Innisfil Beach Road).
This meeting will also be live streamed on the town & YouTube
channel.

What else should I know?

If you wish to be notified of the decision of Town Council on the proposed Official Plan Amendment, you must make a written request to Planning Services, 2101 Innisfil Beach Road, Innisfil, Ontario L9S 1A1 or send an email to [email protected].
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Town of Innisfil to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Innisfil before the
proposed Official Plan Amendment is approved, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Innisfil before the proposed Official Plan Amendment is approved, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
