A popular Elora winter food event is back.

From Feb. 22 to March 10, participating restaurants invite everyone to dine their way through the village for a two and three-course lunch or dinner ‘prix fixe’ menu tasting experience.

The fourth annual Eloralicious will kick off with 11 participating restaurants including The Badley, The Cellar, Elora Brewing Company, the Elora Mill, the Friendly Society, Handsome Devil Bistro, La Fontana, The Wild Tart, Cafe Creperie, and Lost and Found Café.

Maclean Hann, BIA chair and owner of The Evelyn Restaurnat, looks forward to taking part in the Eloralicious event again this year.

“I have participated since the very first Eloralicious event in 2020. I think that we have so many great restaurants in Elora, and this is just a way to celebrate all of the great offerings that our small town has,” Hann said.

“And it also reminds people that live in the area, that they don’t need to drive 15 minutes or half an hour outside of Elora for dinner. There are plenty of great options right here at home.”

Throughout the event, participating restaurants have a set menu with a standard price between $25 and $35 for lunch, and $50 and $60 for dinner per person.

“Each restaurant decides whether they want to offer lunch, dinner or both,” Hann said.

“The way to participate is to choose your favourite restaurants, make reservations, or just pop in.”

Menu specials will be offered in-house according to regular business hours and on-premises dining.

“I just think this is a great value, with really delicious menus being offered by all of these restaurants, and with so many affordable options,” Hann said.

“It’s just a fun way to get people out and into our restaurants this time of year.”
