MOUNT FOREST – The emergency department at Mount Forest's hospital will be closed over night this weekend.
A spokesperson for Louise Marshall Hospital said via email its emergency department will close at 7 p.m. Saturday evening and reopen 7 a.m. to following morning on Sunday.
The email said this is a result of a staffing shortage, which was noted as the cause of a closure earlier this year in March.
Staffing shortages were said to be the cause of similar emergency department closures at Louise Marshall Hospital which periodically happened between July and December last year.
