FERGUS – A local committee is hosting an Afro-Latino artist as part of an ongoing event series.
The Centre Wellington Black Committee’s (CWBC) Awakened Voices Concert is presenting Free The Revolution at the Fergus Grand Theatre on Sunday, June 9.
Free The Revolution is an Ecuadorian-Jamaican artist whose profile says they “use their voice, passion and ability to sing in more than one language to bring people together. Their music combines Caribbean and Latin sounds intertwined with deep soulful groove to create a new synthesized pop.”
The CWBC said in a press release attendees can expect a captivating performance.
The concert runs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fergus Grand Theatre.
