The Town of Minto is happy to announce the hiring of our new Chief Administrative Officer Gregory Furtney. Gregg comes to the Town of Minto with a wealth of
experience and knowledge from his previous positions as the Director of Public Works and Facilities in North Huron and the Integrated Director of Infrastructure
and Development for St. Joseph’s Healthcare & Lifecare Centers.

“It is an honour to be selected as the Town of Minto's next CAO and to support Council and lead my colleagues toward the future,” says Furtney. “I want to thank
Minto Council for placing this trust in me. Minto is a progressive rural community where all are welcome. I am proud to call the Town of Minto my home.”

“On behalf of Council and Staff, I would like to welcome Gregg to the Town of Minto. Gregg’s experience in the municipal field and his leadership abilities will fit in perfectly with staff. With the approval of our new Strategic Plan earlier this year, the Town of Minto has some exciting work ahead of us, and we look forward to having Gregg leading the team”, Mayor Dave Turton stated.

Gregg’s first day on the job will be Monday, June 10th. Please join all of us in welcoming Gregg to Minto.
