MOUNT FOREST – Township officials are shutting down a section of road in Mount Forest for up to three months in order to accommodate road reconstruction efforts.
In a Monday evening social media post, Wellington North Township officials announced Fergus Street North will be closed from Wellington Street East to Birmingham Street East. The closure is set to begin Tuesday and run through the end of July.
“This section of road will be open to local traffic only,” states the post. “Residents accessing the temporary St. Mary’s School location at First Baptist Church are asked to enter Wellington St. from Egremont St."
