Music at the Hall presents an evening of timeless popular songs with the Wellington Wanderers on Saturday, May 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the Eden Mills Community Hall.

In January, a stage-full of seasoned musicians gathered in Eden Mills and began cooking up a storm of favourite songs. The medley is perfected and now they invite you to join them on Saturday, May 27 for a fine feast of spirited music including a couple of irresistible singalong numbers.

From Canada’s beloved Gordon Lightfoot to George Gershwin, come and savour The Water is Wide, If You Could Read My Mind and even a Tennessee Waltz medley…Sing along with King of the Road and Back Home Again, to name just a few on the memory-rich program.

The life-long musicians hale from miles around… from Milton to Guelph to Fergus. They’ve all played together in different mixes around the County for decades. Nassagaweyan and Music at the Hall volunteer, Steve Noonan, has pulled them all together. This is how the Wellington Wanderers were born. They simply love making music.

The musicians are:

  • Steve Noonan, Nassagaweya - guitar, vocals
  • Diane Corlett, Nassagaweya - vocals
  • Grant Campbell, Fergus - guitar, vocals
  • Barry Parsons, Guelph - guitar, mandolin, vocals
  • Paul McDonald, Aberfoyle - fiddle
  • Ross Clarkson, Guelph - drums
  • Rob Stark, Moffatt - bass guitar, vocals
  • Jenny Vodarek, Milton - vocals
  • John Solberg, Guelph - piano
  • Robin Aggus, Eden Mills - pipes

Music at the Hall programs concerts and events to keep the village hopping, and to raise funds for the Community Hall operations. The heritage Hall is proud to be carbon neutral!
