ALMA – One person has died following a collision between a passenger vehicle and a school bus in Mapleton.
OPP report there were no injuries from anyone on the bus but the driver of a passenger vehicle was declared deceased at the scene.
Joshua Cunningham, Wellington OPP spokesperson, explained in a Twitter video emergency services responded around 3:30 p.m. to the collision at Sideroad 21 and 14th Line outside the village of Alma.
This section of road will remain closed while investigators determine the cause. Those with knowledge of what happened are asked to call 1-888-310-1122.
