On Friday night, Grand River Raceway went pink for a good cause.
The event featured horse races, food vendors, live entertainment and more, bringing in a crowd to raise funds in support of breast cancer research through Harness the Hope.
The event raised over $11,000 in donations and on top of that, the Grand River Agricultural Society will be matching up to $12,500.
Harness the Hope is a fundraising initiative that has organized events and initiatives to benefit causes that enable breast cancer research, awareness and support services for cancer warriors and survivors since 2005.
