Registration is open, and donations are now being accepted ahead of the 20th anniversary of the Hike for Hospice Wellington event.
The event runs Sunday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Riverside Park in Guelph.
It’ll feature activities for all ages, a barbecue, hospice programming, a dog show and of course, the hike itself.
Those looking to register can do so on the Hospice Wellington website.
If you register by May 2, you’re eligible for the event’s early bird draw with a chance to win a $250 gift certificate to the Elora Mill Resort & Spa. One team can also win a $250 gift certificate to Piatto Pizzeria in Guelph.
Residents are also encouraged to donate on the Hospice website.
All event proceeds will benefit Hospice Wellington programming and offerings.
Last year, the event raised $87,296.19, well above its $40,000 goal.
This year, Hospice Wellington has a goal of $50,000.
