Truck driver charged after Sunday 401 rollover in Puslinch

A truck rolled over onto its side Sunday evening on the 401, blocking eastbound traffic near Guelph.

PUSLINCH – A truck driver is facing a charge after a rollover on the 401 brought traffic to a halt on Sunday. 

Around 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening, the OPP Highway Safety Division Twitter account reported the 401’s eastbound lanes were closed at Highway 6 North outside Guelph due to a transport truck on its side blocking all lanes. 

Later into the night, the account reported a truck driver had been charged with careless driving and OPP were looking to reopen all lanes around 1 a.m. Monday.
