Elora Rocks remain on top after another win

ELORA – The Elora Rocks closed the year out strong with another win, cementing their first place position in the Western Ontario Super Hockey League (WOSHL). 

On Friday, the Rocks came out on top on the road against the Strathroy Jets, winning 6-3. 

Elora consistently stayed ahead throughout most of the game, scoring two goals each period to Strathroy’s one.

The team remains in first place with 13 wins and two losses. The Rocks’ Alex Utley also finishes out the year with the most points in the WOSHL with 18 goals and 18 assists.

The Elora Rocks are on the ice again next year on Jan. 7 in a home game against the Strathroy Jets.
