FERGUS – Fergus’ revived junior hockey club will be holding an open house later in February.
Members of the public are invited out on Feb. 23 to the Centre Wellington Sportsplex for a meet and greet style event for the Fergus Whalers staff.
The Whalers is a junior c hockey club joining the PJHL’s Pollock Division for the 2023-2024 season. The town previously had a junior team the Fergus Devils which folded years ago.
On hand will be the president and director of operations, alternate governor, general manager and coaches for the public to learn about opportunities within the club such as executive members and game day staff.
Prospective sponsors are also able to come out and ask any questions they may have.
The event runs on Feb. 23 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the CW Sportsplex mezzanine.
