The team is eighth out of 11 teams in the Western Ontario Super Hockey League standings.

The Rocks have a break and do not play this weekend.

Fergus Whalers

The Whalers fell short in the battle of Highway 6, losing on home ice to the Mount Forest Patriots 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Fergus is fifth out of eight teams in the Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL) North Pollock division standings.

The team is on the road this weekend for two games, first in Hanover taking on the Barons on Friday and then in Goderich on Saturday facing off against the Flyers.

Mount Forest Patriots

The Patriots not only beat the Whalers 2-1 on Sunday but wicked off the weekend with a 3-1 win over the Kincardine Bulldogs on Saturday.

The Team is second out of eight teams in the PJHL’s North Pollock division standings.

Mount Forest plays at home on Saturday evening against the Wingham Ironmen.

Erin Outlaws

Erin lost twice over the weekend, first in a high scoring match against the Creemore Coyotes which saw the team lose 15-6 on Saturday and then 4-1 on Sunday against the Minto 81’s.

The Outlaws finish the regular season eighth out of 11 teams in the Ontario Elite Hockey League (OEHL) standings.

This is enough to get Erin into the playoffs where the team will face the first place Ripley Wolves in the OEHL Cup quarter finals.

Minto 81’s

The 81’s won in Erin on Sunday 4-1 in the OEHL’s last regular season game.

The team finishes the regular season third out of 11 teams in the OEHL standings.
