Elora Rocks

The Elora Rocks did not play over the weekend.

The team is eighth out of 11 teams in the Western Ontario Super Hockey League standings.

Friday’s home game against the Woodstock Lakers will be the team’s last home game of the regular season. Elora plays its last regular season game on Saturday in Stratford taking on the Fighting Irish.

Fergus Whalers

Fergus had a big win in Goderich on Saturday, coming out on top 6-1 against the Flyers.

The team is fifth out of eight teams in the PJHL’s North Pollock division standings.

The Whalers have a two game weekend ahead, first in Wingham Saturday for a match against the Ironmen and then hosting the Walkerton Capitals at home for a Sunday afternoon game.

Mount Forest Patriots

The Patriots shutout Wingham 2-0 on Saturday on home ice.

Mount Forest is second out of eight teams in the PJHL’s North Pollock division standings.

The team plays twice at home, first against the Mitchell Hawks on Saturday and then Goderich on Sunday.

Erin Outlaws

Erin lost twice against the Ripley Wolves over the weekend, 7-3 on Friday on the road and then 5-3 at home on Saturday.

This means the team is down two in a best-of-seven playoff series in the quarter finals.

Erin must win at least one of two games this upcoming weekend to stay in the playoffs. Saturday’s game is in Ripley and Sunday afternoon's game is on home ice for the Outlaws.

Minto 81’s

Minto was on the winning side of things, beating the Seaforth Centenaires twice over the weekend. On Friday, the team won 5-3 at home and then 5-4 on Saturday in Seaforth.

The team is now up two in a best-of-seven playoff series in the quarter finals.

Minto is in a position to move on to the next round should the team win both games this upcoming weekend. The team will be at home Saturday for an afternoon game before hitting the road to Seaforth for a Sunday afternoon game there.
