ELORA – The Elora Rocks are on a roll, increasing their winning streak to seven on Friday with an overtime win.

Zack Cameron scored the winning goal against the Strathroy Jets in overtime making the final score 6-5.

The second-ranked home team Jets didn’t make it easy for the Rocks, taking the lead by a goal going into the third period.

Two power-play goals in the third put Elora back in the lead but the Jets answered back with two of their own late in the period.

In overtime, Cameron scored the late goal to maintain the Rocks winning streak and first place ranking in the WOSHL.

So far this season, the Elora Rocks have 10 wins, two overtime wins and one loss.

The Rocks are away again on Saturday Dec. 4, facing off against the Alvinston Killer Bees.
