She is also predeceased by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Ethel and Hugh Adsett and Alice and Cliff Millson. Mom leaves her children behind to carry on her legacy. Betty (Bill) Allen, Tom Buckland, Bob (Cheryl) Buckland, Verna (Steve) Morrison, Barb (Dave) Gibson, John (Peggy) Buckland and daughter-in-law Carol Buckland. Mom was the proud and loving grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 18. She also leaves behind her brother Don (Joan) McKenzie and sister Evelyn (Fred) Oates, as well as many nieces and nephews.

There are numerous special people who also called her “Mom” or “grandma”. Mom’s church family at Mimosa, for over 75 years, will miss her servant heart and willing hands. Thank you to the Guelph General ICU nurses and doctors and Groves Memorial staff. Mom felt very well cared for!! Thank you for your support and compassion through Mom’s journey with you. Special thank you to Dr. John Stickney for his many years of care and compassion for Mom. Our family extends our heart felt gratitude to Highland Manor staff and residents. You truly made Mom’s almost 5 years there a home and a part of a big family. We thank you for all the extra work during the pandemic and keeping our loved ones safe. We joked that we had to make appointments to see her as she was so busy with all the activities and new friends. We will miss visiting Mom’s Highland family.

Mom, Grandma, Nana Buck…..we love you and miss you already XOXO
