On the morning of Thursday, November 2, 2023 Jeremy Douglas William Bullock died in his home.

Jeremy is survived by his heartbroken wife of 32 years, Nichole (née Barnes) that he met when they were counsellors at Camp Hermosa in the ‘80s. He will be missed by his adored children Andrew and Sarah, Paul and Sandra, Joseph, and Rose and Mason, of whom he was so very proud. Though recently predeceased by his father, Norman Bullock, he is survived by his beloved family: his mother, Marilynne Bullock, and his siblings, Scott and Cheryl, Jason and Katherine, Noel and Nadine, his in-laws, Will and Elaine Barnes, Derek and Heather, Jason and Stephanie, many dear nieces and nephews, and even a new great niece. He had many treasured friends from his younger days in Petrolia, St. Jacobs, and Kitchener.

He added great friends through his years at York University, through life in Elora and Alma, and through his more than twenty years of working at the County of Dufferin. He had wonderful friends as well through his Polar Bear club and his Saturday and Sunday breakfast buddies. He was known by many in Fergus and Elora as a coach and an enthusiastic sports dad. Jeremy was larger than life in many ways. He had a great sense of humour, a love for music, a joy of reading, and he was generous to a fault. He never met a T-shirt, a mug, a pumpkin, or a fedora that he didn’t like.

Jeremy was a man of quiet faith. Although not a perfect man, he was always the best father, husband, and friend he could be and all who knew him knew he would give them the shirt off his back to help them. There are no words to express the impact he’s had on the lives of those around him and the positivity he spread in the world. If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever.

Visitation for Jeremy will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South in Fergus on Tuesday November 7th from 6-9pm. Funeral will be held at The Knox Presbyterian Church in Elora on Wednesday November 8th at 12:00 with 1 hour of visitation in the church prior to service time. Reception to follow. Donations in Jeremy’s memory can be directed towards FED’s Soccer or The Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus. www.grahamgiddyfh.com (519)843-3100
