Ron Cuddie of Fergus passed away peacefully at home with family near by on Tuesday October 24th in his 82nd year. Loving Husband to Carol (Hannon) of nearly 60 years. Father of William (Michelle) of Salem, Charlene Oates (Randy) of Mount Forest, Michael (Jen) of Whitby, Karen Thomas (Sean Bolger) of Salem. Grandfather of Corey, Courtney, Christine, Kyle, Nick, Helena, Tearislee, Jaedyn, Hanna & Samantha, Great Grandfather to Ainsley, Olivia and Charlotte. Survived by sisters Gail (Berk) and Marilyn(John) and Sister in-Law Jean, predeceased by his parents Stewart and Veronica of Kitchener and brother Earl of Port Perry. Extended Family of Gail and Gerry Curtis, Bill and Rose Hannon, Pat and Dave Parker, Joan Williams, Bill and Evelyn Henderson and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Brault, Dr. Kelly (McMaster) all the other medical staff, nurses, PSW’s that have cared for him over the years, especially recently during his stay at Groves Memorial Hospital.
A visitation will be held on Friday October 27th from 5:30-8:30 at Graham Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus. A celebration of Life for close friends and family on Saturday October 28th from 12:30-2:30 at the Fergus Legion.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Groves Memorial Hospital.
