It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Joseph James Maloney. Bill passed away on April 20th, 2022, in his 74th year. He passed peacefully at Groves Memorial with his wife, Diane, by his side.
Bill was born on September 5th, 1948 in River Hebert, Nova Scotia to James and Isabel (Shannon) Maloney. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Diane (French) Maloney and together they raised sons Jason (Sonya), Christopher (Megan), James (Saki) and William. Also missed by his beloved sister Diane Silver (David) of Nova Scotia and predeceased by his best friend, Terry Taylor. Grandfather to Amanda (Jake), Ben, Brooklyn, Brennen, Sakura and Riku. Great grandfather to Jackson and Charlie. Bill was a proud member of Millwright Local 2309 for 50 years. He was always there to lend a helping hand and was a proud, no nonsense kind of man. He loved to walk his dogs and was happiest when they were happy.
Bill will be dearly missed by his family.
