December 9th, 1940 - March 25th, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of James (Jim) Arthur Prior in his 84th years on March 25th at Wellington Terrace.
He will be missed by his loving wife Leslie of 46 years, his cherished daughter Lindsay, son-in-law Ryan Judge and grandchildren Jackson and Hannah, his pride and joy.
Jim was the proud uncle to his much loved nieces Vada (Ken Driskell) and Lisa (Paul Sharpe) and nephews Jim Cutting, Jim (Nicole) Myler, Bob (Jenn) Jones and Craig Jones. He was also great uncle to Sarah, Olivia, Stuart, Cameron, D'Arcy, Brooklyn, Chloe and Aubrey; and great great uncle to Miranda and Gavin. He was a loving brother-in-law to Loraine (Jim) Myler and Bette Anne (Tom) Jones.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Vadus and Ivy Prior and sister and brother-in-law Elaine and Ken Cutting.
After 34 years with the veterinary division of Upjohn Pharmaceuticals Jim retired to enjoy country living with his horses and everything that needed fixing. Most importantly he loved being around family and the friends, neighbours and church members who were like family.
Memorial donations to local food banks or Mimosa United Church would be appreciated.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Information will be posted on funeral home website, once confirmed.
