Julie passed away at her home in Fergus on December 19, 2023 surrounded by her close family and beloved poodle Shadow.

Despite the challenges of a life changing stroke in her 20’s, Julie raised her son Ryan on her own. She enjoyed a successful career as an aesthetician and was owner of Southern Exposure on Stone Road in Guelph.

Upon retirement Julie and Thomas, who owned Pet Culture on Stone Road, moved to Kemble on the beautiful shores of Georgian Bay. There they made many new and dear friends, and enjoyed their home. In 2022, Julie and Thomas moved to the Fergus area to be closer to family.

Julie will be dearly missed by her husband Thomas Frances George, his daughter Kelly George, grandson George Gaeta, and his son Kyle George (Melissa) and granddaughter Jordan. Thomas’s sisters, Velda McKenna (deceased), Diane Vain, and Dale Proctor.

Much loved daughter of Donna Virginia Webb and father Peter Norman Webb (deceased). Special sister of Todd Webb and his wife Sindy Webb of Hanover.

Julie was an unforgettable precious mother to her son Ryan Norman Todd Webb, who was the light of her life, and his son Ryder, her first grandson, (Katie Wiltshire) of Cayuga. Julie’s aunt, Donna’s sister, Brenda MacGibbon of Hope, B.C, was (despite the miles) her close, dear friend and misses her deeply, along with cousin Pam MacGibbon and Pam’s daughter Nicole MacGibbon.

Julie’s last wish of leaving the hospital and going home was made possible by her loving family and friends. Thanks to the Palliative Care Team of Doctors, Nurses and Personal Support Workers, also the Active Caregiving Team. We are grateful for the kindness, personal, dignified treatment Julie received, it was extraordinary!

At Julie’s request, no services will be held at this time. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be planned on the shores of Georgian Bay in the Spring.
