WHITE, David (Dave) R. - After a brief battle with cancer, Dave passed away with his family by his side on December 23rd, 2023, at the age of 75.
Beloved husband of Nancy for an incredible 54 years. Admired by his children Kristi (Michael) and Jaime (Mike). The funniest, proudest 'Grandpa Dave' to Abbey, Liam and Jonah. Survived by his sisters Sheila (Jim) and Jo Ann (Reid). Predeceased by his parents Ross & Marie White and reunited with his late son Jason.
Known as a passionate, hard worker who took great pride in his business, College Auto Tech. Started by his father, and taken over by his daughter, that was a place where many colleagues and clients turned into lifelong friends over the span of his 43-year career.
Daves happy place was anywhere near water. He loved swimming, boating, cottaging and cruising. To have a long hot sauna followed by a quick jump in the lake or a roll in the snow was his favourite.
We will miss his constant humour, contagious smile, and his positive trademark, always being 'peachy'.
