$30,000 in damage done during Fergus theft

On Nov. 25, 2022, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a theft from a business on St David Street, North, Fergus. It was reported that at approximately 1:20 a.m. a suspect cut into a change machine, causing extensive damages, and stole a quantity of change (currency). Estimated damage to equipment is reported at $30,000.
