On June 8, 2023, at approximately 7:45 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a person causing a disturbance at a business on Main Street West, Palmerston. Initial reports indicated that the individual had caused damage to the business as well. Officers attended, located the individual and placed them under arrest.
As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old from Palmerston has been charged with the following:
- Mischief - destroys or damages property
- Indecent Act - public place
- Assault with a Weapon
- Uttering Threats - Damage Property
The accused has been held pending a bail hearing.
