COUNTY OF WELLINGTON, ON - In December 2023, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into reported sexual assaults that occurred between May 2023 and September 2023, at a residence in the County of Wellington.
As a result, a 58-year-old from Erin, has been charged with four counts of sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age, four counts of sexual interference and two counts of indecent act, contrary to the criminal code.
Further, the accused was also charged with distribute cannabis to an individual under 18 years of age contrary to the Cannabis Act. The accused was held for bail.
