Disturbance at Palmerston business leads to charges

The victim in the incident was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries

On July 7 at approximately 6:45 a.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a business in Palmerston. One person was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One person was arrested at the scene.

As a result of the investigation, [a 24-year-old] of Kitchener has been charged with aggravated assault and with failure to comply with release order.

The accused has been held pending a bail hearing.
