On Sept. 16, 2022, at approximately 12:15 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision at Sixth Line and Wellington Road 124, near Brucedale. Initial reports indicated that a dump-truck had rolled, spilling approximately 14 tons of earth.
OPP, Guelph/Eramosa Fire Department and Guelph Wellington Paramedics Service attended the scene. The driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the collision is being investigated. The roadway was temporarily closed for the clean up.
