(ERIN) – On Sept. 24 the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an intimate partner violence investigation at a residence in the Town of Erin.

As a result of the investigation, a 41-year-old from the Town of Erin, has been charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph, on a later date.
