WELLINGTON NORTH - A 64-year-old Fergus resident is in hospital after a pick-up truck struck a house northeast of Arthur.
Wellington County OPP say emergency responders got the call of a single-vehicle crash just before noon Monday.
The single-vehicle crash happened on Wellington Road 16, between Line 2 and Line 4.
The driver, who was the lone person in the vehicle at the time, was transported to hospital by ambulance, and then airlifted to a trauma centre by Ornge in stable, but life-threatening condition.
OPP Cst. Josh Cunningham said it's too early to tell how the collision happened.
As a result, the road is closed, and it's expected the closure will last several hours.
