As a result of an investigation, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police have laid charges in the harassment of an Elora family.

A 35-year-old resident of Fergus has been charged with “criminal harassment - beset and watch person known to complainant, contrary to the criminal code”.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph at a later date.

Wellington County OPP would like to remind everyone that watching, following, and taunting another person, that results in that person fearing for their safety, could be a criminal offence.
