On Aug. 7, 2022, at approximately 4:30 a.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of an assault at an address on Third Line road, Centre Wellington.
It was reported that an unknown person had arrived at the address and had assaulted someone at the residence. Officers attended, and as a result of the investigation, a 48-year-old Guelph-Eramosa man has been charged with assault contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph at a later date.
